  • Canon-McMillan rolls over Hempfield; Angott goes for 262 yards, 5 TDs:
    • GREENSBURG — Hard-charging Ryan Angott rushed for 262 yards and five touchdowns in a little more than two quarters, powering Canon-McMillan to a 45-14 victory over Hempfield in a Class 6A Quad County Conference win Friday.  Angott scored on runs of 31, 5, 8, 24 and 2 yards as Canon-McMillan forged leads of 17-0 after one quarter, 38-7 at halftime and 45-7 early in the third quarter.  The Big Macs (2-1, 2-1) struck early as Chris Davis intercepted a pass on the game's second play, leading to a 26-yard field goal by Anthony Finney.  Angott then reeled off four consecutive TDs and David Mowod plowed in from three yards out with 36 seconds left in the first half.  Angott added his fifth TD 3:02 into the second half.  Hempfield (1-3, 1-3) didn't score until the final play of the first half.

  • Cross Country JV/Varsity Bald Eagle Invitational at White Oak Park on 10/3/2020:
    • Runner Jamie NealonJamie Nealon (pictured) shows good form climbing a hill at Saturday's Bald Eagle Invitational.  The cross country teams returned to White Oak Park Saturday to compete in the Bald Eagle Invitational.
    • The Boy's team finished 8th with Doron Wudkwych winning an award for his 17th place finish in a time of 16 minutes 53 seconds. Also scoring for CM were Drew McGee, Max Thomas, Matthew Thomas and Caleb Chaplik.
      • The Girl's Team finished 13th behind Audrey Karwowski's 29th place finish in a time of 20minutes 39 seconds. Scoring for the Big Macs were Addy Yaeger, Anna Sheppard, Erin DeLong, and Lorien Walker.



  • Girls JV/Varsity Soccer VS. Bethel Park at Bethel Park on 10/3/2020:
    • Congrats to the Lady Mac JV team on a 2-0 win over Bethel Park.
      • ???????JV goals scored by Capri Chambers and Rachel Rutkowski.
    • Hard fought game ends in a 0-0 tie.
      • Varsity shutout provided by goalkeeper Paige John.
