Canon-Mac Celebrates Veterans Day 2020

CIS Students Celebrate Veterans Day

The entire Canon-McMillan School District thanks ALL Veterans, past and present, from all branches, for their service!

Each school celebrated Veteran's Day this year in different ways. Even though each school's celebration is different the message is the same - Thank You for your service Veterans!

  • Borland Manor Elementary School Counselor Jennifer Ford assisted the students and staff in saying Thank You with this video
  • South Central Elementary thanked all Veterans, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 for their recent donation to Canon-McMillan Elementary School with this video.
  • CIS Student making a cardCecil Intermediate students (pictured above as well) wrote thank you cards for the veterans at the VA Hospital facilities in Oakland and Aspinwall in honor of Veterans' Day. The students shared their words of gratitude with the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Mr. Wolf from Canonsburg Middle School
  • Canonsburg Middle School Students got to listen to Mr. Wolf's annual  presentation about serving in the military. This year he did a video presentation for the 8th graders for their remote learning day. Mr. Wolf is a veteran of the Iraq War. Thank you for your service Mr. Wolf!
