Dear Canon-McMillan School District Parents/Guardians and Staff,

The Canon-McMillan School District will move to remote learning for all students beginning Tuesday, December 1, 2020, through and including January 4, 2021. The amendment to the Return to School Health & Safety Plan is necessitated by the impacts on staffing caused by the increase in community transmission, new Commonwealth’s requirements on self-quarantining/testing of persons travelling across state lines, and other COVID-related issues. The District will monitor staffing issues and other conditions during the specified period for remote learning, and may further amend the District’s Return to School Health & Safety Plan as circumstances dictate.

Please visit the PA Department of Health website (www.health.pa.gov) for the latest and most accurate information about COVID-19. The health and safety of our students and staff is paramount, and we continue to follow all aspects of the District’s health and safety plan at all times. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through this pandemic. We will get through this together.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Canon-McMillan School District
