The pajama drive was a service project for the month of December, sponsored by Canonsburg Middle School's student government. The government members voted on what they would like to do and they chose collecting new pajamas.
The students had two weeks to collect the items. They were able to collect 126 pairs, with sizes ranging from infant to adult. They chose the Salvation Army because it would benefit families close to home in the Washington area. The pajamas will be used to help fulfill Christmas wish lists for families in need.
Congratulations and thanks to these students on this fantastic act of community service!
